The Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters) EC120 Colibri is a light, five-seat, single-engine utility helicopter. Designed and jointly developed by Eurocopter, the EC120B was assembled by Eurocopter in France and Australia. In China, the aircraft is produced by Harbin Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (HAMC) as HC120.
It is a lightweight mono-turbine helicopter for 5 passengers and 1 pilot. Equipped with a reaction engine, it presents excellent performance at high altitudes and high temperatures. Its simple and modern design, which uses a wide range of materials (shovels, starflex rotors, hoods, etc.), offers great comfort due to the low noise and vibration levels. It is a very versatile aircraft, like all the versions of the Esquilo’s family, indicated particularly for executive and passenger transport, aero medical transport and also to external load.
